Responsible for achieving marketing, sales, profitability, and service quality goals for the food & beverage departments set forth by Green Mountain Inn GM.
Directly responsible for operations in the Whip Bar & Grill, 18 Main and Events.
Collaborates with Executive Chef and F&B Managers to oversee all facets of Food & Beverage outlets management.
Responsible for training and supervising staff to consistently surpass guest expectations.
Job Tasks &
Responsibilities:
Duties Include but are not limited to, Oversee all aspects of the organization's food and beverage planning and service.
Responsible for achieving marketing, sales, profitability, and service quality goals for the food & beverage department.
Knowledge of financial goals within the F & B department Work closely with the Executive Chef and Chef De Cuisine in menu planning and costs Train and manage F&B staff to meet and exceed the expectations of our guests.
Adherence to quality and safety standards for staff and patrons.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask and think quickly under pressure.
Communicate effectively with employees, departments, and managers.
Ability to analyze operations and keep abreast of the trends and make improvements that will benefit the company.
Responsible for executing all functions per banquet event orders.
Comply and follow all State of Vermont liquor training and licensing.
Comply with Serv Safe and Vermont Food Service Standards.
Responsible for ordering items as needed and keeping records for yearly budgets and operating costs.
Train staff to increase guest check averages by upselling food & products.
Control restaurant operational costs and identify ways to reduce operating costs.
Responsible for weekly/monthly/seasonal inventory and ordering Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
Attend meetings as necessary.
